Great nutrition plays an essential role in our health and Nikki is in the garden to explain to us the benefits of incorporating Lemons into our diet.

  • No matter where you get your Lemons from, they are packed with Vitamin C.
  • 1 lemon contains 51% of our recommended daily intake of Vitamin C
  • The Citric acid in Lemons is great for our Kidney health.
  • Squeezing lemon juice over non-haem iron sources such as Broccoli and Kale, can increase the absorption of iron into our bodies. This is especially important for Vegetarians and/or Vegans.
  • Use lemons, in soups, salad dressings or in warm water in the morning to stimulate the digestive system.
  • Lemons are not only easily accessible, but they are so good for us too.
