  • Yes, that’s right, FRUIT! The avocado is often mistaken as a vegetable but is in fact part of the fruit family.
  • They’re chock-full of everything that’s good for you. One avocado has more potassium than a banana and is full of heart healthy, mono-unsaturated fatty acids.
  • It’s also loaded with folate, vitamin K, and vitamin E which are essential for the health of our bodies.
  • The Avocado is a very resourceful fruit and can be thrown into either savoury or sweet dishes. You can add it a salad or blend it in with your morning smoothie, or event turn it into a chocolate mousse dessert!
