Persephone Brewing Company operates an 11-acre microbrewery in the community of Gibsons on BC’s Sunshine Coast. - Their farm consists of 2 hop yards, an apple orchard, market garden and flock of hens. Their first 1 acre hop yard, established in 2013 has Centennial, Cascade and Golding hops.
- Cider is made using the two acres of cider apples. The produce from the garden is sold the Farm to Feast food truck, and also at on site farm stand, farmers market and to local restaurants and commercial kitchens. We only use organic practices on the farm!
- Tucked into the southwest corner of mainland British Columbia, the Sunshine coast is a 180km stretch of paradise. Accessible by air or by ferry service at its north and south ends, the Sunshine Coast is part of the BC mainland, but has all the laid-back charm of island living.
- Gibsons is a coastal community of 4605, located in southwestern BC, Canada, on the strait of Georgia. It’s the main gateway to the Sunshine coast. Although Gibsons is on the BC mainland, it’s not accessible by road. It’s a quaint town of artists and fishing boats, and perched on a hillside, it overlooks a harbor and faces nearby islands in Howe Sound. Gibsons is 16km from Vancouver.
