Segment: Good Good
Air Date: 8th February 2020
Presenter: Trevor Cochrane
From time to time, a great burger satisfies the urge for casual deliciousness, and today Trevor and his sound technician Ben visit a funky eatery in the heart of Dunedin that serves up some of the best burgers you could ever hope to try.
- Right in the middle of Dunedin’s Warehouse precinct, Good Good has got a pretty special vibe. With a food truck inside this old building and so much neon all around, this business’ history is as interesting as his look.
- With no professional background in cooking, co-owners Rob and Reece started in a house kitchen and aimed at focusing on quality and simplicity in order to produce an extraordinary produce.
- Everything is sourced locally and delivered daily, from the meat to the bread. Nothing is frozen and there’s a delicious vegetarian option as well.
- Good Good showcases a simple concept, but exceptionally well done. And the proof is in the pudding, as these guys regularly end up on Top 10 New Zealand burger list, having been voted the 3rd best burger in the country at the beginning of 2019.
